Prepare to Raise with HOST and GC Angels is a half day event for digital and tech Greater Manchester companies looking to learn how to become investor ready to accelerate their growth.
We had a great turnout, with aboudfsjkjldsfljsdfjklt 40+ entrepreneurs and capital partners, showing up to learn more about becoming investor-ready and listen to the line-up of exciting ventures pitching on the day.
We started the day with a talk from the Keynote speaker Kevin McAvoy the Co-Founder of SEVEN BRO7HERS brewing. SEVEN BRO7HERS are an amazing brewing company and bar chain in Manchester. Their first beers sold in 2014 and they raised £1.6 million.
They were starting the company with limited knowledge but eagerness to learn the craft. As a result, Seven Brothers are now one of the biggest craft beer brewers in the UK. Using crowdfunding to help gain investment is a proven method thanks to companies like Brewdog to raise investments and give the customers something back with rewards for investing.
